Review on Optimized Server Books: Waitress Waitstaff Organizer - Food Service Equipment & Supplies by Pete Norris

This was a really great purchase and has helped me organize my receipts and money ever since I started in the service industry. However, I will say that the place where you keep the receipt holder's cash or pockets is quite difficult to put things. It takes me a while to open them, to slide the pocket far enough that I can actually stuff recipes inside. I said my documents are flat but if you want to just put the whole receipt in your pocket without folding it but just keep it flat and long I have to say its quite unwieldy. I love that one pocket has a zip closure and that's where I'll keep my cash and loose coins if I get some, but whatever and whatever I really want I could just tape receipts to fold them up. I better get them in shape. When you're in a hurry or have a lot to do, it's quite a nuisance to have to stop, put down the notebook and reach in to get the receipts right in. I just don't have time for it. Aesthetically it is very beautiful. I've already made some pen marks on it since it's in my apron with my pens. So keep that in mind if you're buying a lighter color, but overall it does the job. It gets quite thick if you put a file/notepad inside, but that's ok. I recommend the server book for each server. It helps me stay organized and on top ;)
