Unirex MSC-128M 128GB Micro SD U1 with 5-in-1 Reader and SD Adapter is a very good adapter as long as it stays together. When I went to take the second set of photos, the suitcase fell apart. I think his internal heat was too strong and broke the seal. c'est la vieTested on USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. I had no problems. The Dell XPS used standard USB ports in a metal case. There was a problem removing the Unirex MSC-128M from a standard USB port. A small Unirex MSC-128M mini adapter got stuck when pulled out, the USB metal case caught on the metal parts of the adapter and pulled out the tab holders; almost caused a short circuit. This was the last good USB port I had on this PC. Now when I plug something into that port there is nothing to hold the devices and there is play, all because of the mini USB adapter part. Be careful when using this on older computers. I've had good results with Windows 7, 8.1 and MINIX NEO U22-XJ in the past. Transfer was good, although I couldn't test the mini-USB adapter that slides out (and snaps into place). This feature really made me want to check it out again as a lot of work went into making this adapter. When the case fell apart, the innards were shown and they looked pretty good. I'm not giving 5 stars because there was a problem. it broke on my main pc. Haven't read any warnings about not using this adapter on standard USB ports. You have to deduct half a star because the case falls apart with short-term use. I haven't checked if MicroSD and SD cards can talk to each other or if both cards are treated as the same shared storage. I didn't have any extra memory cards. I assume more technical work was done to develop this Unirex MSC-128M adapter and that's why it's so expensive. One would expect a clip or belt holster to come with this adapter for the price of this adapter compared to others. There is no mention of a guarantee, although the introduction mentions water, shock, X-ray and temperature protection. So maybe Unirex made it practically explosion-proof... if only the case were explosion-proof too, because it can't be that waterproof. It lost another star in that last part of the water resistance failure. promising.
