This toothbrush is a rechargeable version of the brush I previously bought for my youngest son. On the plus side, it's fully compatible with the chargers used for the Oral-B 1000 series (and seems to support accessories too). Also, it's now easy to find it in anything other than the "Princess" theme, which seemed to be the only theme available when I was looking for it about a year ago. Then again, it needs to be charged - a lot - and there's no charge-level indicator like the 1000.
