We thought it would be a great addition for the 5 cats we are raising but after a week we had to remove it. The concept is good but the design doesn't work properly. The metal is not strong enough and starts to sag causing the platform to tip over after 2 or 3 uses. Our adopted cats are not very large cats and weigh around 10-12 pounds. usually. Also, the lid doesn't stay on the shelf, instead sliding off the front after a cat or two. This presents a huge problem as there is no support between the front and rear wires other than the coating material. We're going to reinforce the shelf with extra wires to hold the front and we'll also need to find a way to keep the lid from sliding off. Don't recommend this unless you want to change the theme to make it work.
