At first I didn't understand how this thing worked. I thought the whisk was supposed to fit handle-first down into the rest, right-side-up. It actually hugs the outer contours of the whisk rest upside-down. Only issue is the curl gets inevitably relaxed if the water is too hot when using your whisk and this whisk rest doesn't address that aspect of the curl at the very ends of the bamboo strands, but it does give it a nice place to rest and shapes it a bit int he main flare of the whisk.
