I received the unit and found that the 1/2 inch connector was not included. I was able to get the fittings from Lowe. I installed the block with little effort, but the anode rod leaked while filling the heater. I removed the anode rod and applied more pipe tape but it still leaked. I removed the rod again and wrapped the thread in more tape. The next morning there was water in the pan. I put in the old rod from the old heater and there was no more leakage. I contacted Revain and they asked me to buy a replacement wand and then credited me for the wand. The heater works perfectly, no more leaks.
