These are Open End Nuts
I got them for a reason: when changing brakes when I put the brake disc on and then have to put the caliper on it I often scratch the brake disc because the brake disc is not held very tightly the original wheel nuts. They let me hold on to them because they have an open ending which makes the job a little easier!
