Exactly what I expected
Just the ticket for an inexpensive shoe that we needed quickly. They are definitely wide for my daughter's medium wide foot. If you have a child with wide feet I would recommend getting them street size. For a nice, comfortable fit on an average foot, I would go down half a size.
