I tried it on a cloudy day and was able to charge my mobile phone's external battery. Please note that it is waterproof/protected. Many of these portable panels are not. Unfortunately the nib for my laptop broke but the seller agreed to give me enough credit to buy a replacement pack of nibs rather than send me a new nib which was fine. I decided to swap this out because of its smaller size (60W) and lower power, but I would wholeheartedly recommend it for something like a portable RV panel as it's fairly light. I felt like you almost had to buy a battery controller with this device to get full use of it, which was more than I wanted. Of course, if you plug it into the sidebar of a camper van, that's not a problem.
