This is a good product if you understand what you are buying. I just bought a new laptop and wanted a bag that I could carry over my shoulder and when I take it to a store or restaurant on the way home from work it doesn't advertise that an expensive laptop is inside. That will help. It doesn't have much padding so I bought an extra padded laptop sleeve for an extra layer of protection. It's basically just a nylon tote bag with shiny nylon trim and faux leather trim, but it feels sturdy enough and is well made for the price. No one will think it looks like an expensive bag, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I was actually considering getting myself a fancy leather computer case, but then realized it might make it more of a target for thieves. When considering this item, just consider the importance of extra padding and a soft lining to protect your computer. As I said, I ended up buying an extra case, but maybe for the combined price of the two I could get a slightly better case so I don't need a case. Still good value overall.
