You may be surprised at how tiny this item is in the packaging. It was packed very securely in a plastic bag and the plastic bag was inside a regular ziplock plastic bag. It expands like a drop when I take it out, but it's good. I have a new queen bed and I need a king comforter so I can pretend to be over my position. The color is a nice navy blue as I expected. It's quite thin for a blanket, but heavy and warm at the same time. I'm only giving it four stars because the jet black color is a lot lighter than it looks in the picture. I was expecting a darker grey, almost black, but instead it looks more like a medium grey. It doesn't matter since gray is one of the colors I use in my color scheme, but keep in mind that the colors aren't exact. It's also quite crumpled from packing. Again, I don't care because I'm not a fan of such things, but someone who wants a cleaner look might be concerned. Although it's pretty much what I wanted and I'm glad I bought it.
