My 6 year old grandson loves football and these are his first pair of football boots. The boots are bright neon green which he fell in love with when he saw them. The ankle pad is padded and the boots fit as expected. It's lace up so it helped him get a little comfortable until he felt able to do it himself. He said the boots were very comfortable and kept him from falling. He liked that he could get her very dirty. He also liked cleaning them.
