At first glance this jewelry hanger looks great. However, its functionality is pretty close to zero. First, don't believe the reviews that mention easy mounting from the command line. Mine definitely didn't have command stripes! Instead I had to drill into the wall for about half an hour to install it. Second, this thing sits too close to the wall. This means there really isn't any place to hang your earrings. The hooks on the earrings need to slide and scrape around the back of the hoop to sit there. Alternatively, you can unhook the bar to put the earrings on, which brings us to the next problem. The rod falls out so easily! It's too short for hooks. By wiggling it slightly - for example if you are trying to remove one of your earrings that is very tight because it is so close to the wall - and the earring stem will fall out completely. Alternatively, you can remove the entire shaft and remove the earrings. Good luck, be careful not to let the rest of the decorations fall on the floor. And that's the worst. Too many evenings have suddenly been put off by all my earrings falling on the floor. If your earrings are fragile, they will break. Four pairs of my favorite earrings broke because this thing threw them on the floor. I spent more money on replacement earrings than on this thing. Two stars because she looks cute. That's all. Definitely don't buy this.
