versatile and good to have! Plug and play after installation

So it was very useful in live broadcast, event and decoration. Ethernet is cheaper than HDMI with no loss of quality. I tried it out on my drone and was very happy to see that I could be as far away as needed to stay in sight and still transmit without using a wireless transmitter and have an ethernet connection to the principal at church . 150 feet of Ethernet is $50, so not that much. It also worked on Samsung's Blu-ray player, allowing it to bypass the hardware to prevent piracy. It's also great for recording presentations for live broadcasts. Many times you installed a capture box and had no idea if it actually worked. This way I can switch presenter and presentation, use OBS and record over it. very good. Something to be aware of. with rtsp i got a delay of 2 seconds. When I start a new day with this there seems to be some sort of rumination for about 1 minute or so at boot, although I can switch it from device to device and it keeps streaming, I only have to re-enter it in the OBS streaming software select and it will be displayed again. I used this as a video capture source, but it also works as an encoder for live streaming. You can use this with an atem mini and plug it in and now you can live stream your switched channel from the monitor out (although using a monitor with a loop through is recommended). All in all, this is a very versatile device and very handy to have.
