Exactly what I was looking for
I bought my father a landline phone with caller ID. He didn't like it because he said it was too quiet and he couldn't hear it from outside. I bought this product to fix the problem. I am very happy to report that it is very loud. Has 4 different volumes. The tone setting is analog and may vary within its range. I may have missed it, but I didn't see the cable that came with it. I bought one but found that it comes with its own cable. It is very easy to install and does not require batteries. I am completely satisfied with this product.
