I was very hesitant to order these cycling shorts because after having 5 children my physique no longer corresponds to the current "trends". But I got a chance and I bought a gray pair, a navy blue pair and a maroon pair. The Navy didn't show up in time for our trip so I don't know how it fits in yet. The dark burgundy fits very well. I probably could have gone for size XL instead of L to reduce compression but they were still comfortable. However, the gray pair was much tighter and I will be returning them. I was quite surprised at how comfortable I felt walking around Disney! I will order more but I will be a little shorter. I didn't realize they were 12 inches long for some reason and since they were short it just ended up in a weird spot. Obviously that hasn't stopped me from keeping a pair!
