Last night I attached two 50 foot cords to the wires I installed above our outdoor ice rink. They aren't very heavy but as I expected this caused the wire to sag a bit so I tightened the wire and we were good to go. Deferred a decent warm glow. Not too light. Not too dark. Glass wasn't a problem for me. They were well packed. My heavy sandbags overturned the van and threw a box through the air. No breaks. I removed them all for easier pruning (fewer up and down stairs). You could hear the lightbulbs rattling, but they were fine. Not too fragile. I just had to go back to the handful to turn the string so they were all pointing in the same direction. Comes with small zip ties if you decide to use them and 2 spare bulbs. It's only about 5-6 inches from the plug to the first light, so plan accordingly.
