I bought this lamp for my bedroom as I have salt lamps in every room in the house. Looking back, I should never have bought this machine. Let's start with the fact that I bought 3 months ago and the wiring harness was faulty. I checked the bulb twice just to verify this. I can't contact support because this window and the returns window are closed. Great customer service there. No! Second, this lamp has a metal base. The only way to access the bulb is to remove the non-scratch rubber pad on the bottom of the bulb. That's fine as long as you don't change the lightbulb and then put raw metal on top of your antique wooden furniture to keep it from getting scratched. The biggest design flaw. My advice: be sure to buy a stone with a wooden base and easy access to the bulbs. Stay away from metal bases.
