One of these was delivered in great condition so arrived quickly. The adapter was exactly as shown in the picture (2 wires with a 4-pin molex socket and a 3-pin fan socket) - the cable length was 11 inches, so there was no routing problem in my case. I recently bought a new case with an integrated fan control box that uses a 3-pin fan. Connectors - I had a 200mm case fan with a Molex connector that I wanted to install on the side panel. Didn't want to connect the fan directly to the PSU (didn't want the fan running at full speed all the time) so I bought this adapter. I connected a fan to my case's control box and now I can control the fan remotely - high or low speed if I want, or turn it off when I don't need the extra airflow.
