It was pretty easy to connect to my network right away and change the encoder settings, which was easy. But when it came time to send the tape to a streaming service, things got more complicated. You must have basic IT skills to use this device. The stream itself looks amazing! However, setting up routers, subnet masks, and IP addresses to work together was no easy task. After an hour on the phone with Sal from j tech support we were able to get it up and running with no issues. I cannot thank the support team enough. They were very helpful and patient. And there was no waiting to speak to a real person. I can't comment on the durability since I've just started using the device. But if customer service is any indication of a product's value, I must be good for a while.
