I'm pleasantly surprised by this. I'm using an older 12.9 inch I Pad and have worn out a few high end pads/covers. I needed more stamina. Also, I need it to hold both upright and wide securely. This stand fits very comfortably in my bag. And it holds my tablet in any position very comfortably. I'm a little concerned that there is no way to re-tighten the pivot joints if they loosen over time. But that might be because the design is good enough that they don't loosen, and adding what I was looking for might just cause a problem that they don't solve well. Anyway, they're snug but easily adjustable with no sign of sagging, even with my heavy tablet. Very impressive!
