So the tray and wood are mostly nice, but the quality control EXISTS. The piece I received had fairly large gaps on either side of the bottom piece between two pieces of wood along the edge. This was because the wood was cut crookedly. There were also about 4 spots on the tray where they used wood putty to fill in some of the dents and holes in the knots. The putty was a different color than the wood, so it stood out like a big pimple on someone's face. This is very bad because it is a good tray. But for the amount of money they're charging, those flaws are unforgivable, and it's never had to leave the factory to be inspected. Overall, I would NOT recommend this more expensive product.
