Review on ๐ŸงŠ Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Bottle - THERMOS FUNTAINER 16oz with Wide Spout Lid, Black Matte - Enhanced SEO by Joseph Mathis

There is no straw. Holy Backwash, Batman

I bought this to upgrade from the 12 oz size. I mistakenly assumed this to be the same mug, only bigger, as they are both called "FUNtainer". This thermos doesn't have a straw, although there seems to be a 16oz size with a straw somewhere, as reviews have been posted with a straw and I was able to find another Revain listing for a 16oz straw mug. Despite the disappointment that there is no straw, the cup is good. They are well insulated and a good size. They are strong enough for small children. These cups can be dropped and thrown for some time. Two weak points are the plastic cover and the lower plastic ring at the base. The lid tends to crack around the knob after it's dropped. The base will detach if dropped too many times. It can be glued again if it comes off. I especially like these mugs because the water from the container has no noticeable taste or smell. What I really do NOT like about this mug. I'm assuming it's for kids since it's called the Funtainer. The spout of this mug feels like it would be hard for my child to drink compared to a straw mug. This mug gets very messy and messy, which isn't a thermos backwash problem for kids, but since it's made for kids, I hope they come up with a more kid-friendly spout at some point.

Pros
  • Snap-button lid design for easy one-handed opening; rigid spout with hygienic coating
Cons
