Haven't picked up the bag yet but was a bit disappointed with the size. The bag can hold 3-4 books unloaded, but you probably won't run a laptop with all that. The bag is very thin and looks like it would fit nicely on the back of my bike, but I haven't tried it yet. I doubled the impregnation with a spray because I soaked the sink in a very short 10-15 seconds and the water got into the material. Update: well the manufacturer hassled me several times to remove my comment because I assure you that this bag is not waterproof. unless you take steps to ensure it is waterproof before taking it on a trip. Pros: It fits more than I expected since I now use it for my everyday college backpack. It fits about two textbooks and a binder of small notepads quite snugly. The front pocket fits either a book or a laptop and it's tight, but doable. There is a cute pencil/pen holder built into the front where I keep my military patch so I know it's my bag. Can be attached to the bike with the built-in straps and you don't have to worry about riding with a full load. Cons: The straps are everywhere, so make sure you fasten them if you're driving or if you're about to pop. The helmet always sticks out far in the holder, so you have to be careful where you go. The helmet holder is a little loose no matter what you do if you plan to just attach it to your bag. You need to bring some materials to class. The bag is not the most comfortable if carried on the back all the time. You're gonna have a good time. I have to keep turning and taking things out in my bag to make sure I have space, but it's delayed.
