So far, so good. Installed a black cartridge and everything worked. I ordered this cartridge separately to replace a new faulty ValuToner cartridge that is not recognized by the printer. I buy a spare set of cartridges to have on hand when the old cartridges run out. So cartridges can be 3 or 4 months old. So it is too late to return the defective cartridge.
