Defective items are sold as new

I received my Samsung Buds Plus on June 15th and they were dead in the box. I've tried pairing it with seven different devices to no avail. The case charged but the headphones died, no power, no call when touching the touchpad. They sent me new unused buds at retail price and I think I got what I paid for. I have been buying Samsung products from Revain for years and have never had to make a return and have been asked to contact Samsung before sending them back to the seller and I see the Headphones+ warranty is required on the 20th June. How convenient for the seller that I called Samsung and now have to wait 10 business days to give my son-in-law his Father's Day gift. No sweat from sellers back right. Well I would not recommend anyone to buy this product from them especially if the item is sold with an expired warranty. I think that's why they are sold so cheaply, they break and the warranty ends before or immediately after you receive the goods. I would not recommend this seller to my friends. Thank you for making Father's Day so special.
