Review on Blue Yeti Pop Filter Eliminates by Claudia Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works. Best Accessory

This mic filter does what it promises. It stops clapping on bs and ps and protects the microphone from saliva. It does not stop atmospheric or white noise. For this you need a lid in addition to the filter. This filter is not so easy to install if you have trouble with your hands. In this case, another pair of hands may be required to slide and tighten it into place. In addition, the retaining strap is melted into the orthosis. It took real brute force to force him to break up. In fact, at first I thought it wasn't going to come off at all. I finally freed it and attached the filter to my Blue Yeti. It didn't slip or come off at all. Mine also came in different packaging than shown in the other custom pictures. There were no instructions or advice on the best way to install it. It's not that hard to figure out, but still. The clamp is flush/flat whereas the Yti mixer arm is not. It takes a little work to get it in the best place to stay safe. It's not an ideal situation hence 4 stars. Plus, it costs nothing because it's made in China. What sets the microphone filter apart from other cheaper ones is that the mount is flat. Other mounts have the clip bent in such a way that it does not fit the Yeta's hand snugly, even though they are advertised as suitable. This filter isn't made by Yeti (which is odd since they don't make accessories for it), but it's the only one that actually fits without slipping. All in all I recommend this filter for Blue Yeti. He does his job and stays where he is.
