I opened a new spindle the other day and the first one was bad. I had several DVDs ready in burn folders and am still pulling my hair out trying to finish them. I'm on disc three right now trying to burn a project. They seem to fail in about the same place. They appear to burn normally, but fail in the verification process. I used to buy from shop4tech and the burn was rarely bad. To everyone reading this, pay a little more and get good CDs. I bought both DVD+ and DVD- and had similar problems. I'm almost done with these discs. I can record AND REVIEW, but they usually skip when playing on my DVD player. Yes, the heads are kept clean and every now and then one really burns.
