Excellent sound quality! Excellent range when there are no obstacles between the microphone and receiver. I've tested it up to 500 feet in an open area with no signal loss and excellent sound quality. With a metal music stand, it only had a range of 150 feet before being cut out. I didn't do endurance tests with the batteries, but the only time we used them was over two hours and there were no problems. AA batteries are cheap so I will change them at every new event and don't expect any problems.
