I had high hopes that this product would work with my Lenovo desktop for personal use and Lenovo laptop for business use. However, a docking station connected to a laptop via a USB-C cable will not be recognized by KVM as a dual monitor. I connected the dock to my laptop and had two HDMI cables going to two monitors. The laptop easily recognized two monitors and allowed me to set them up accordingly. However, when I connected the same two HDMI cables as input to the KVM, the laptop no longer recognized the monitors. We may have worried that someone would log in as a remote user and take control of the laptop the morning after installation. Is it bad luck? This seems very suspicious as this was the first use of this device. My settings are such that we live in a rural area and neighbors can't see our router. Nobody in the house uses a wireless mouse or keyboard, but someone took control of the laptop and tried to prevent us from saving our work when we tried to perform a hard reset. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but the documentation, both online and written, was very poorly and clearly written by people who don't speak English.
