My new ASRock Z390 Extreme4 build case doesn't have a GEN 2 patch panel yet, so it eliminates the inconvenience of accessing the mobo I/O ports again on the back . Even if Fractal cannot provide an updated panel for the Focus G, this hub will always be on hand. The connections are well distributed and housed in a body that is neither too big nor too small. The cable is strong and flexible enough to accommodate most needs. Using CrystalDiskMark showed no slowdown in hub and I/O port tests (and passed ASRock and StarTech GEN 2 standards). This hub is StarTech through and through: well designed, well built and good looking.
