Works as expected in memory card accessory

My new ASRock Z390 Extreme4 build case doesn't have a GEN 2 patch panel yet, so it eliminates the inconvenience of accessing the mobo I/O ports again on the back . Even if Fractal cannot provide an updated panel for the Focus G, this hub will always be on hand. The connections are well distributed and housed in a body that is neither too big nor too small. The cable is strong and flexible enough to accommodate most needs. Using CrystalDiskMark showed no slowdown in hub and I/O port tests (and…

Pros
  • Yummy
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

I bought this USB-C hub because I needed a hub with Gigabit Ethernet, a USB-A port and a 10Gb/s USC-C port. This box meets all of these requirements. other USB-C hubs that have many more ports, but many lack a 10Gb/s USB-C port (they only support 5Gb/s) and things like SD card readers, HDMI and USB-C -PD connectors that I don't have. This device has exactly what I need, it has a metal body so it feels solid, and the Ethernet and USB-C ports were solid. I don't know why this isn't more popular…

  • Consistent test results

  • So far so good

Stupid design in Computers & Accessories

This product doesn't seem to be well thought out in design and it doesn't satisfy customers very well. First, the connection cable is too short. On many PCs, the USB-C port is on the back of the box. This cable is barely long enough to rest on the case. My guess is that the product developers have never used their product in real life. Second, the USB-C cable had to be detachable and a second USB-C to USB-A cable had to be included. Many PCs only have one USB-C port but have multiple USB-A Gen…

Throughput numbers are an advertisement

Let me say that this vendor isn't the only one touting the speed of their hubs, despite being twice the price of the other two. this is the third i have bought since i got the mac mini m1 which slows down connected drives by about 30%. I have a 1050MB/s Sandisk Extreme SSD and when plugged directly into the Lightning connector it hits an amazing speed of around 900MB/s as measured in the Blackmagic speed test. the same drive connected to this hub connected to the Thunderbolt port will not…

Corresponds to his statement. Full speed 10 Gbps.

Pros: - Full USB 3.1 Gen 2 @ 10Gbps support - Small portable form factor with long cable - Works exactly as intended and advertised Cons: - All 3 USB ports (2x A, 1x C ) are on the same page. Place one of the A ports on the opposite side if the design allows for larger USB devices such as smart card readers. I am very happy with this purchase. There was only 1 review so I hesitated but it fits my needs perfectly. My laptop has 1 USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gb/s) port that I can connect to either an…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

10Gbps. I've been using this hub for a month with USB3-NVMe Gen2 10Gb/s cases, Gen1 flash drives and other basic mouse/keyboard devices with no issues. powered device. 4 flash drives are fine. 4 NVMe SSDs maybe not. Pay attention to the supplied upstream power. All output ports support Gen2/10Gb/s, although the icon in the port is blue, but the label shows "10G" (good). If you need Gen2/10Gbps throughput, the uplink must be a true Gen2/10Gbps port (assume nothing else, search for "10"). I also…
