My shower keeps clogging due to hard water in my city. I needed a new one to make cleaning easier. So far this style is easier for me. It doesn't have little rubber dots that stick out. The spray area is flat and has tiny holes. It's really easy to clean and the sponge doesn't get ripped off by those rubber nubs. It's all plastic so light weight, the shower itself is heavier but it also has a cartridge inside the stem that filters the water. It was difficult for me to fully tighten the stem, I don't know why. I don't know if there are replacement filters for it either. I hope this filter really helps with hard water situations. It's a strong spray, but you only get a pattern as there's no dial. The kit includes everything you need, a shower head, filter cartridge, hose and nozzle connector/hook. It's basic, so there's nothing superfluous or fancy about it, but it's decent and works well.
