I'm always trying out new carpets. Apparently I've never found one that lives up to the hype until now. The rug has been rolled up and shrink wrapped in plastic for protection during shipping. I left it rolled out overnight and had no problems with the ends curling up when I took it to the kitchen in the morning. Its length is enough to pass in front of a double sink and reach the front of the dishwasher. It's AMAZING because so much water ends up on the kitchen floor. It is comfortable to stand on, whether with shoes or barefoot. After washing dishes for my family of 7, I may experience lower back pain. Since using my new mat, I have had no pain at all. In terms of safety, we even tried a baby step stool and the movements were ZERO. With three toddlers pacing to "wash the dishes," that's quite an accomplishment. The underside is gray and doesn't feel sticky or "flaky". Other products on the market leave marks or stick to the ground. Not with this mode. =) Did I mention memory foam is the perfect amount of plush? Can ups see how far my finger pushes down? And then it comes right back. Gray but such a neutral tone that it goes great with my walnut floor, oak cabinets and beige walls. I might just have to buy one for every sink in the house!
