Review on 🐱 TRIXIE Pet Products 3-Story Cat's House: Explore Elevated Adventures for Feline Friends by Jennifer Williams

Very cute wooden cat house. It is very well made and looks very attractive. Luckily my neighbor helped me assemble it. He had an electric drill/screwdriver which made the process much easier than doing it by hand. It took us about an hour and a half to assemble. It was definitely better if there were two of us assembling it, although one person could do it, it's just not that easy. A subtle smell emanates from the house, probably due to the wooden surfaces. It might smell like cedar, but I'm not sure. The smell was stronger when I took the pieces out of the box, but now I only notice it when I bring my nose very close to the cat's house. A neutral scent in my opinion. The problem I have now is getting my cats to actually use the house. I removed the tailgate and side door panels. I've put treats inside, but so far none of my three cats have shown much interest in spending time indoors. They munch on treats and then they jump! I have a cat house for my indoor/outdoor cat but I want to make sure she uses it before I take her outside. I've heard from other reviews that other people who have received this have had to teach their cats how to use it. When I have time I will do other things like add washable cat beds to each "floor" to see if that encourages them to use it. I hope they get her to use it by making her more comfortable and also luring her with treats. I'll post an update in a few months if it worked.
