Bright, effective, but interferes with radio/TV.

Bought several "deformable" LEDs from various manufacturers. I wanted to light up a fairly large barn. This was intriguing because it claims to produce 150 lumens/watt, which is about 50% more efficient than other lamps of this type. In practice, this light used 60 watts (according to the Kill a Watt energy meter) and in my opinion it wasn't brighter than another brand's 80 watt/8000 lumen deformable lights. Actual power consumption can be difficult to measure and I'm not sure if this feature works accurately. My big issue with this light (and frankly all other deformable lights from other manufacturers I've tried) is that they emit RF. As soon as I installed the first deformable light, I lost reception of the FM station that I normally listen to. The deformable lights also interfered with television reception. I can receive very strong stations, but unfortunately these are not the ones I want to see/hear. I've done a few tests with regular 100W/1600 lumen replacement LED bulbs and they caused little to no interference (FEIT bulbs did very little). So I removed all the deformable lights and replaced them with 1 to 5 lamp adapters filled with 1600 lumen bulbs and I can listen to my radio again. I think the deformable lights lit the barn a little better because their light is very directional, while the bulbs are more omni-directional, directing some light into areas I don't really want to illuminate. The adapters + bulbs are also much cheaper than deformable lights. Conclusion: They light up the room well. I think the 12,000 lumen claim is a stretch. Light may interfere with FM radio/TV signals.
