I really like this floor mat and it feels really durable. Many mats of this type have a rubber base, which seems problematic as they dry out after a good rain. It has no rubber backing, allowing water to pass through and drying faster. My only complaint and the reason I didn't give it five stars is that when I wipe my shoes on it the bristles on the bottom cause it to slide sideways slightly. If I put it on one side it moves to the left and if I turn it over it moves to the right. It's not a big deal and certainly not a reason not to buy another one as these coir mats do a really good job of cleaning the soles of your shoes.
