For quite some time my dog has been licking her back end. It started because she has a growth on her tail that was checked and considered just a wart and to be left alone. Especially, due to my dog being a senior we did not want to take chances and have it removed if it did not need to. However, my dog obsessively licks it and the surrounding area and has caused a terrible rash and scabbing. I've tried everything. Keeping wound clean and medicated was not working as I wanted it to. Tried this stuff and so far has been very good. She still licks the area but it is healing. If I can get her to stop licking I'm sure it would be completely healed. I am also using liquid bandage since everything else I've tried she just pulled off. Only concern is that she keeps licking the medication and I hope that does not cause other issues. Bottom line this stuff works as expected.
