Review on G332 SE Stereo Gaming Headset by Micha Maciejowicz ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad! I am not satisfied with the quality of the product.

One of the poorest pairs of headphones available for this price. My head is of an average size, and along with the other factors, it takes a very long time for me to adjust to the design, which features a small soft bow. The frequent use of the headphones caused the plastic to crack over one of the attachments of the cups themselves to the bow. This was caused by the load that was placed on the plastic parts of the headphones. The headphones are currently unusable because one of the cups has been detached from its holder. I don't comprehend how, for over four thousand dollars, one can acquire headphones of SUCH quality, in which not a single component is intended for use over an extended period of time, and in which the materials are of appalling Chinese quality (although it would seem - a branded thing). Not appropriate for games, particularly first-person shooters. It is not feasible to obtain appropriate sound to hear opponents without installing additional software and making adjustments to the parameters of the sound card. There is no 7.1 surround sound in this location (who would question it since even the materials are of such poor quality for such a low price) - when playing shooters, you either can't hear your opponents at all or you can hear them, but it is incredibly quiet. If you want additional "surround sound," you can get a software subscription from Logitech for $5 per month (or possibly more; I'm hesitant to lie). Playing shooters requires special software that can only be obtained in this way. I could not be more unhappy with the purchase that was made. Before to that, HyperX was also not content with them (although given the fact that they were in the same price class as this model, how wrong I was), but this model persuaded me that there are many other options that are far worse. Purchasing is not something I encourage doing. It is in your best interest to go with a different brand or spend the extra money to have 7.1 sound.

Pros
  • Excellent sound quality; there is bass. A viable alternative for the purpose of music listening.
Cons
  • Very weird in its construction. Build quality - backlash, squeaks, the design itself is extremely unreliable.
