I got one of these bad guys recently and the first thing that struck me was how confused I was researching the AMD FreeSync compatible version. I think I based my decision at the time on mixed reviews saying it would work with gsync with the right drivers. However the picture quality is top notch and overall it was very easy to set up, the reason for the 4/5 stars is that the stand is very uncomfortable and immo unnecessary (looks at the expense of functionality. What I mean specifically is that the stand is from center out is a Y shape and the legs are long which creates quite a large surface underneath. I'm just about to go back and get the H version which is more expensive the Gsync version (NVIDIA) or ASUS strix with eye care.It would be nice if someone could explain if it's worth it or if "screen tearing" is really a problem.I did a screen tear test on youtube and couldn't find anything in the game (fortnite) at 240FPS I didn't notice anything.
