This is literally the only shoe that I can fit my son's foot. He is 8 years old and we always had trouble buying shoes for him as they were too tight. I took a chance because everyone I spoke to said that New Balance is the only company that actually makes wide shoes for boys. I bought extra wide and they fit perfectly! He loves shoes. I just keep buying the same ones year after year because they are so comfortable and he doesn't want anything else. In addition, they do not fray on the upper material like most children's shoes. We've had this pair for a few months now and there are no signs of wear and he is an ACTIVE boy!
