**UPDATE: AFTER FOUR MONTHS OF WEARING ALMOST EVERYDAY, I noticed the shoes were fraying on the sides. The soles are slightly flattened but look good; Problem zones are on the upper sides of the shoe. Unfortunately, but not entirely surprising given that it's a fairly thin and light fabric that makes up the outer layer of the shoe. We like light, flexible shoes, although for the price they can be a bit too light. Cute, although maybe not for daily premium hard play. I bring it down π. FIRST REVIEW: We weren't familiar with this brand of shoes, but it seemed like a good price to us (not cheap, but not too high for an unfamiliar brand either). Our first grader wore these shoes every day for the first two weeks of school and loves them. They have a nice flexible sole (quite thin), a nice velcro closure and a nice denim color. I didn't have to clean them but imagine they are easy enough to clean. We're happy so far, but will update if lower quality emerges.
