Review on DTECH 10ft USB 2.0 to RS232 DB9 Serial Port Adapter Cable with FTDI Chipset - Compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7, Mac, Linux by Tonya Zayas

Received this to communicate with some PC home automation accessories (ADI Adicon 2500 Ocelot and Adicon 2500 RX8 CPU) which are still useful in their own right but were designed before USB and a needed obsolete one RS232 connection, which most motherboards don't have now, especially the Mini ITX. Once I defined the communication ports for my additional drivers and software, everything worked like clockwork. It's a bit slow, but I have a feeling it's the bottleneck of the old RS232, not the cable or the USB connection. I wanted to use PL-2303 adapters, but I read many reviews about fake ones and compatibility with real ones with Windows 10. By the way, the drivers for Windows 10 were installed without any problems. Happy I went with it.
