This is the first security camera and it was quite expensive - about $300 plus data fee and solar charger. I don't want it stolen, that's why I have this safe. If you use this crate and choose the optional battery pack on the camera, the cable cannot be pulled through the crate and around the tree. There are several holes where you can use thick screws to attach it to wood. The metal is quite thin. By screwing it to the wood it was actually deforming the box so I had to release the pressure. You can use a padlock to lock it when using an extra battery. I see someone destroying this box with pliers or smashing it with a hammer but also destroying the camera in the process.
