I don't write reviews but based on the sheer volume of reviews complaining about durability I thought I'd share my opinion. I bought this soap and it arrived on December 2nd. I used it for the first time the next day. So, from December 3 to January 11, and the photo above shows where he is now. Now for the foreword. I've used bar and liquid soap; the bar of soap had a dove, a lever, a dial, and an Irish pen; Liquids were Ax (most hated), Irish Spring and Old Spice. I used liquid because I hated film like the feeling I got from all the soap bars I've ever tried. I used old spices for a while before using this soap bar. I will compare this soap to all my liquid soap and bar experiences. Smell: Smells amazing but with the way our noses work you won't notice the smell after wearing it for a while. A different habit after a while as the product wears off. It doesn't smell cleaner than liquid soap and unlike regular bar soap, it has a much more pungent odor. Skin Feel: This was the best part, unlike all other soap bars I don't have that weird filmy texture. on my skin AND my skin is much more hydrated. The liquid soap didn't feel moisturized. So the main win is here. Longevity: It lasted about as long as any soap. I use a washcloth, keep it away from running water, and place it on a raised, ventilated soap dish. I found this ounce. per ounce, although my liquid lasted longer. Cost: Here's the part that some complain about too. The thing is, you're paying a premium for a premium product. If cost is a deciding factor, get classic branded soaps. If you want a higher quality product, you will pay more for almost everything you buy. Yes, it's $10 for a month or just over a month of cleaning. You pay almost the same for streaming music, don't you? I am expected to work 1 1/2 months and work in the kitchen 5 days a week. So the missing costs don't play a role for me compared to the quality. So overall a very good product. . Is it perfect, no, I still wish it was closer to $7 a bar, but it's better than any other soap I've used. I will continue to use it. As for other products like shampoo and the like. I use Crew and I really like it and I won't switch to it. And remember. Happy sweating.
