Review on ASUS XG49VQ Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync: 🖥️ 3840X1080P, 144Hz, Height Adjustment, Blue Light Filter and HDMI Support by Peter Hammon

I have to say I was hesitant to go that big with my monitor. I also leaned toward Samsung because all my TVs are Samsung and I rate their screens very highly. Ultimately, I chose ASUS because I have all the ROG settings. I'm glad I did! This monitor is well built, looks GREAT, is great for gaming and is well priced. I had no problems with 3840 x 1080 resolution, in fact I think the response times are better when gaming. I actually had to turn the brightness down and turn the brightness down to keep from going blind. I also had to hang it on the wall so it was a little farther from my back retina. Once I have .nirvana! The Asus app is easy to use, the controls at the bottom of the monitor are very basic (despite some reviewers complaining about them, I find they work very well). and an additional USB port on the bottom is the perfect place for a wireless keyboard/mouse dongle. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone who wants to go ultra wide and get rid of the bezel. Just don't play COD with me 'cause I can see you even if you can't see me.
