Review on 🔳 EVA Foam Sheets for Kids Craft Cosplay Model 13.7×39 Thickness 1-10mm: Thick-10mm, Black by Denise Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great EVA, comparable to TNT Cosplay's EVA 50 High Density Foam but with a huge bonus

Benefits* Good quality EVA* 1mm thickness is a godsend (details below)* Works exactly as Is that possible? You want the EVA to work * Good for dipping your feet into prop making. Cons * Overpriced for small sheets * No ultra high density foam at all like the seller said. CURRENT COMPLETE PRODUCT REVIEW "85 kg/m³". This is slightly higher than even the highest density eva TNT sold and there are more options than just 2mm thick 90" x 45" panels. When I received them I found that they are not as dense as EVA-70. They appear to be a little denser than the standard EVA-38. I bought 1mm, 4mm and 10mm options and they were all the same quality. That being said, the 1mm option is absolutely amazing and I love it. While not strong enough to make thin but realistic tempered leather, sew on a sewing machine, or use for other harder support components like I can do with a 2mm EVA-70, this 1mm is still very durable , stretchy, malleable, flexible and smooth as hell. I've tried using it as a top coat on props that I had to sculpt heavily with a dremel instead of spending hours heating, fine sanding, reheating, even finer wet sanding, heating, wet buffing, etc. to try and get a nice smooth one , bring back lint-free surface. Now I can add a thin layer of Kahn to the propeller and 1mm, and then stretch and shape it for a perfectly smooth surface. it can be wrapped around edges, corners and curves. Because it's very thin, it shrinks really well when heated, so you can basically shrink any areas that have too much play to be perfectly shaped. That's a thickness I haven't seen anywhere else. The only real issue I had is that the pieces are pretty small and overpriced. 13" x 39" varies slightly. Compared to the standard 24"X60" you'll find it everywhere. Using the example of 10 mm, the cost here is $ 3.75 per square meter. foot when you can buy almost the same product in 3 times the size sheets for 1, $59 per square foot before shipping ($2.39 shipping) from elsewhere, and the price difference gets bigger as the thickness decreases. So if you want to make more than just a small prop, your best bet is to go elsewhere. If you want to try EVA foam effortlessly, this isn't a bad idea. and the 1mm thick panels are great and worth it if you don't want to worry about the props being smooth after molding. INTENTION REVIEW I bought this to test and compare to some of the other EVAs I've used for props. All of the "EVA" sold on Amazon (except for the good old floor mats) that I've tried have proven to be the same weak, low-density "force foams" prone to tearing, which you might find cheaper at local artisans. the shops,

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Has been damaged
