I bought a size 7/8 for my 8 year old daughter who is about 4ft 11" and weighs 51lbs and just joined in the joy. It fit her perfectly and warmed her on cold autumn evenings, didn't roll down and was easy to put on. and undress for trips to the bathroom and all (thanks to the zipper and buttons).
