I've been looking at rangefinders for about a month trying to decide if getting one would actually be good for my golf game. I considered buying for $200 but it seemed like an unreasonable risk if I don't like it or find out it's not helping my game. I found this one thinking I could make $90 and not feel bad if it's something I end up disliking/unused. It had good reviews so far so I went for it. I wasn't really expecting much from a $90 golf range finder, but I was pleasantly surprised with this product! Unbeatable for price and functionality. The tilt function works great, the aiming accuracy is spot on, and the fact that it runs on AAA batteries is just a bonus (CR2s are expensive for a battery, but AAAs are dirt cheap). Magnification is more than adequate and very clear (focus is adjusted by rotating the eyepiece); Unless you have it mounted on a tripod, it's always a bit difficult to get a good reading at anything over 150, no matter what rangefinder/brand you use. The only thing I don't know at the moment is its durability, but it comes with a 12 month guarantee so it's worth a try whichever way you look at it. (UPDATE: I've used it for a year, no problems. I still haven't upgraded because it was AWESOME!) My suggestion if you're thinking about getting a golf rangefinder: buy this one. For $90 it's a chance to see if it's really helping your game and if it's working well enough to really help you make a decision. It really helped my game more than I expected and I didn't have to break the bank for it. Good product! Absolutely worth a try. A golf rangefinder that works SO well at THIS price range, you can't go wrong!
