Sunivaca's colossal glass foot file is easy to sanitize and lasts almost forever. We all develop thick skin and calluses on our feet and heels as we age. There are many ways to deal with this including foot scrubs, liquid callus removers, electric and manual foot files. This is a tempered glass hand file, not sandpaper. The glass is etched to form an abrasive surface. It's very easy to use. Just hold it in your hand and buff away thick calluses, feet and heels. When you're done, apply a good foot cream (especially with urea as the main ingredient) and you're done. I especially like the glass foot files because they are so easy to disinfect. Of course they're glass so extra care needs to be taken when storing them not to break them, but I've never broken one. This particular one is teardrop shaped making it easy to hold while in use. The etch is different than the others I have and is a bit more abrasive. This is a good choice for people with thick, cracked heels as they heal quickly. However, I prefer a finer abrasive for finishing.
